In 2010, Global Strategies for HIV Prevention discontinued hosting Hope Walks events.  Over a period of several years, these events raised more than $500,000 to support orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) affected by HIV. We have been delighted at having reached more than 6,000 people across the United States with information about the international HIV epidemic.  We are deeply indebted to all those who participated in a Hope Walks event, and especially grateful to those who raised funds to support the OVC programs we worked with around the world.
